When I am reading, I travel the world, solve crimes, get further education and share my daughter's childhood favorite books with my grandbaby.
When I am sick, I will curl up and lounge around whilst drinking tea and preparing for a nap.
It has stains and has lost some of its cushiness (I do hope to do a quick and easy reupholstering of it).
Yes, X does, indeed, mark MY spot. Do you have a special spot?
Oh yes Gail, I do, in fact I always make for the same spot, whatever room I am in, here, yes my recliner or computer chair. Downstairs, a recliner in Amanda's lounge. At church usually the same seat or same area in home group the same. Some think it is odd, I say it is me and part of my little touch of O.C.D.

Right before Emry was born we bought a really nice La-z-boy that I spent hours nursing and rocking her and then the other two babies in. They're big now but sometimes I still curl up there and cuddle them.
ReplyDeleteI have a nice papasan chair. The only problem is that it is too comfy. I always end up asleep.
ReplyDeleteI have a favorite spot, but it's not that comfortable now because I'm so far along in my pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post.
I had a spot - a white chair with my grandmother's quilt on it. I could have devotions there and look out the window, but we rearranged the room and it lost it's spot. Since doing so I haven't sat in MY chair. Bummer. I'm now sitting at a Costco table in my sewing room so I can have some quiet when having devotions. It works, but just not as comfy or scenic.
