Life

sanc·ti·ty   [sangk-ti-tee] Show IPA
noun, plural -ties.
1.
holiness, saintliness, or godliness.
2.
sacred or hallowed character: the inviolable sanctity of the temple.
3.
a sacred thing.

Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. Thirty-nine years ago abortions became the law of the land of America. Since then, more than 53,000,000 children have been denied the right to life.

Progress in pre-natal testing has made it possible to know if your unborn child has an extra chromosome (Down Syndrome)like Addison and Abby whose parents can't imagine life without them.

Before you know it, there will probably be a pre-natal test for autism. I can't imagine a world without my Isabella. Nor can Jess imagine a world without Brooke or Jeneil a world without Rhema. There are so many others I can mention who don't have blogs.

If Tim Tebow's mom had listened to the advice of her doctors to abort because her child would, if he survived, mental and physical deficiencies, we would not have the saying "Tebowing."

The womb is an "inviolable sanctuary." If not safe there, where?

No matter what the situation, unless the mom is dying right in front of the doctor, there is no legitimate reason for abortion. If you don't want your child, send him or her to me; I will either find or give them a home.

I know this is not my usual type of post but I know with everything in me it had to be said. May United States of America repent for its sins of mass murder and may God have mercy if we do.

*If you have had an abortion, I hold no ill will against you nor do I judge you. If you need to talk, I am here.

  2. It's your blog and you can speak your mind. Abortion makes me sad too, but not just for the babies. For the girls and women who think there is no other choice, or who don't have the confidence or the support to make a better decision.

I am a God-fearing woman and I know that He does not stand for these actions. One day He will say "Enough". In the meantime our country can never realize it's true greatness until we are obedient to His will.

  3. Hey G, this post is so honest and direct. I totally agree with wat yo've written. There should be more out there who'd be willing to help and counsel others in this situation the way yo would.

  4. Psalm chapter 1 verse 1 says,"Blessed are they who walk not in the counsel of the ungodly ...

The answers to life's questions are in God's Word. Those who are hurting, confused, in despair, and not knowing what to do in their circumstances can ask God directly through prayer. Simply talking to God and pouring out their hearts to Him. God is as close as the mention of His name and He really cares about each one of us. Then read God's Word, The Bible, asking Him to lead you and give you direction, by helping you to understand in your heart what it is He wants to say to you as an individual.

God did not abort us because we are sinners. He loved us so very much. For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that who so ever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. That is just the beginning! There is so much more in God's Word for us all. The Bible is a Love Letter to each one of us who live in a Fallen World. We are all sinners needing the Savior.

We all have hard choices to make in this life. Life is hard and not fair in so many ways. God has made a Way for us to be Saved and to experience true Freedom in Jesus. We have a free will to choose. Some one reading this may be at the Crossroads in their life. Whether to choose "Life or Death". Whether to choose Jesus as Lord and Savior. Jesus is the Answer for the world today! Jesus is the answer for you today! There is Hope for you today! There is Hope for each one of us. It starts by seeking God with a sincere and repetitive heart. You can turn and moved towards Jesus Christ, and confess you are a sinner, in need of a Savior. Give your life to Jesus, and turn away from your sin and way of doing things. God's Way is the only way for True Freedom and Forgiveness. You can be "Born Again" Spiritually and experience Life no matter what the circumstances you find yourself in.

For those who may be thinking of Aborting, give yourself and your baby that is inside of you a chance at life. Give your life to Jesus. After saying all this. The choice is yours to make. God Loves you and Cares for you.

Psalm 139 talks about you and each one of us in our mother's womb.
verse 13 says, "For you have formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother's womb. vs.14 I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Marvelous are your works, And my soul knows well. Verse 15 says,"My frame was not hidden from you, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Vs. 16 says,"When your eyes saw my substance; being yet formed, And in your book they were all written. The days fashioned for me, When as of yet there were none".

There is much more written in Psalm 139 in the Bible. If you can look it up and read it for yourself. It talks about how God is thinking of you right now and how much He loves you.

Gail, I know this is long, and I appreciate you and your straight forward talk, and I know you speak Sincerely, honestly and from your heart. I appreciate that about you Gail. I am glad to call you my friend. It has been awhile since I have been to your blog, and it always seems to stir my heart. Thankyou Gail for this post and your Blog. I am so glad you are here and I can stop by when I get the chance. I haven't been on my computer much these days and haven't been out with my camera since before mom got sick. That is okay though. I am embracing the time I have with my mom, and thankful that I can help her as much as I can. She has always been there for me, and I for her.
God Bless you my friend and please keep writing from your heart. You have a good heart.
    Love and Hugs
    Dianne :)

  5. My pregnancy was unexpected and unplanned. So is my son's autism diagnosis and the subsequent separation from my husband (though his autism was not the main reason for it), thereby making me a single parent. Life has not been easy, yet despite it all, I can't imagine life without my awesome rockstar. He has been such a blessing.

Like you, I hold no judgement for those women who felt they had to end the life that was growing in their bodies. I pray that they find true peace and healing in the saving arms of Jesus Christ.
