Groovy

When I was a kid, "groovy" was a neato word to use. Lately, I find myself regressing in my vocabulary and "groovy" or some derivative of it is front and center.

"How do you want your hair cut?" "I'm grooving the extra length," I said to my niece who is my hairstylist extraordinaire.

"Oh, that new dress is groovy, Isabella! I dig it!" What must she think?!

I can't think of a better word to express myself in this way. Can you?

  1. "Slow down, you move too fast. You've got to make the morning last. Just skipping down the cobble stone, looking for fun and feeling groovy..." Love playing that song on the piano and singing it at the top of my lungs:)

  2. When I hear the word groovy I instantly think of a loud dress a la Mrs. Roper form Threes Company :) I use the word 'awesome' a ton, probably too much but I love it. "I am from California" is my excuse.
